Lonneke’s background lies in the subculture(s) that have been created by squatting. Out of this culture, several things seemed to formulate all round the same time; such as free spaces, eateries, “giveaway” shops and various music and art styles. Through the Pirate Bay archive, Lonneke discovered the VHS, de hondenkoekjesfabriek (“Dog Cookies Factory”). This was a noise band that was linked to a building where all sorts of stories exist. Many of the properties of this subculture no longer exist but the story continues. What are these stories and how did people experience these places? The dish that will be served in the evening is inspired by the first time she participated in a dining room of the legendary SUB071 in Leiden.
